“We are more than a hundred years since the founding of Piedmont and the city still remains overwhelmingly white while neighboring Oakland is one of the most diverse cities in the country. What do you think have been the biggest contributors to the racial and economic differences in how Oakland and Piedmont have evolved overtime?”
“What are the harms perpetrated by Piedmont schools being so segregated, to itself and its surrounding community?”
“How does state funding for schools create equity or exacerbate inequity across schools and districts in CA?”
